Website
Armour Black began his culinary career in 1987 with Benchmark Hotels as a sous chef. After seven years, he had the opportunity to work as executive chef at a resort in Alabama, and in 1996,
he moved to Colorado to work at the Cheyenne Mountain Conference Resort. After two years in the Rockies, Chef Armour realized he missed the desert lifestyle, returned to Arizona and continued his culinary career as executive chef at the Phoenix Crown Plaza Hotel before joining Scottsdale Plaza Resort's team in 2005 as banquet kitchen chef.
Before long his dedication, professionalism and hard work earned him the position of executive chef. He now oversees the resort's main kitchen
operations as well as Remington's.
